The terms that apply to any dumpster rental, delivery, pickup, or related service booked with BBP Dumpster, covering pricing, weight, liability, and cancellation.
Effective date: September 1, 2026. Last updated: September 1, 2026.
These terms govern any dumpster rental, delivery, pickup, or related service booked with BBP Dumpster, whether arranged by phone, text, website form, or in person. By booking a container or using this website, you agree to the terms below.
A booking is confirmed once you receive a price, container size, and delivery window from us, whether by phone, text, or in writing. Prices quoted include delivery, pickup, disposal up to the tonnage stated for that container size, and a standard rental period as described in Section 5, unless otherwise noted at the time of booking. No deposit is required to reserve a container; payment is collected once service is complete.
You are responsible for identifying a delivery location that is accessible to a roll-off truck and clear of obstructions, low branches, or overhead lines that could interfere with delivery or pickup. If our driver determines a location is unsafe or inaccessible, we may place the container in the nearest reasonable alternative location or reschedule delivery, and additional charges may apply if a second delivery attempt is required due to inaccessible placement.
Placement of a container on a public street, rather than on private property, may require a permit from the applicable city or county. Obtaining any required permit is the customer’s responsibility unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
The following materials may never be placed in any container: hazardous waste, paint, solvents, adhesives, motor oil, fuel, antifreeze, batteries of any kind, tires, asbestos or material suspected of containing it, and appliances that have not had refrigerant properly removed. Placing prohibited material in a container may result in additional disposal fees, delayed pickup, and, where required by law, reporting to the appropriate regulatory agency. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring prohibited material is not placed in a container.
Each container size includes a stated tonnage in its price. Weight is determined by a certified scale at the disposal or recycling facility the load is delivered to. Weight beyond the included tonnage is billed at the overage rate in effect at the time of the job, calculated from the scale ticket. A copy of the scale ticket is available upon request.
Unless a different period is agreed to at booking, the standard rental period is seven days from delivery. Rentals of 1 to 21 days can be arranged at booking. Pickup is scheduled at the end of the agreed rental period, or earlier upon request. A container must be accessible for pickup on the scheduled date; if it is not accessible, pickup may be rescheduled and additional charges may apply.
The customer is responsible for:
We take reasonable care when placing and removing containers, including offering protective boards on request for driveways or other sensitive surfaces. However, delivery and removal of a large, heavy container inherently carries some risk to driveways, lawns, curbs, or other surfaces, and we are not responsible for damage to surfaces that were not disclosed as sensitive at the time of booking, or for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions such as cracked, unsealed, or otherwise compromised pavement.
Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge if you notify us before the container has been dispatched for delivery. Once a truck has been dispatched, a cancellation may be subject to a trip charge to cover the cost of that dispatch.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BBP Dumpster’s liability for any claim arising from a rental is limited to the amount actually paid for that specific job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost time, lost business, or costs incurred due to a delayed delivery or pickup, except where such limitation is not permitted by California law.
You agree to indemnify and hold BBP Dumpster harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your violation of these terms, including placement of prohibited material in a container or failure to obtain a required permit, except to the extent the claim arises from our own negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or a booking will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California.
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Terms in effect at the time a booking is confirmed apply to that booking.
